BIBLE STUDY

"SOMETHINGS BREWING" Bible Study, Monday Evenings at 7:00 pm at the Hanover Elks Lodge, 47 N Forney Avenue, Hanover  (September - June)


FAITH FORMATION - SUNDAY CHURCH SCHOOL

Sundays at 9:15 am September through May


0 to 2 years: Nursery

Nursery Room - Main Floor/Education Wing
Directed play with story time and songs.

3 to 5 years not yet enrolled in Kindergarten: Preschool Sunday School Class

Preschool Room - 2nd floor/Education Wing
Students gather in the Courtyard at 9:15am for 30 minutes of singing/music enrichment activities and the reading or retelling of the current Bible story. Students then move to their classroom for Bible stories, crafts, games and singing designed to enhance overall church experience.  
Every month this group will be invited to share a song they have learned with the Rotation Sunday School Classes as the anthem for the 10:45am service. Although encouraged, participation is ALWAYS optional.

Kindergarten through Grade 6: Rotation Sunday School 

Courtyard Room - 2nd floor/Education Wing
Students gather in the Courtyard at 9:15am for 30 minutes of singing/music enrichment activities and the reading or retelling of the current Bible story. Every four weeks a new Bible story is introduced.
Students then rotate to one of four areas: Theatre, Art, Science & Cooking, and Games.
Every month these students will be invited to share a song they have learned as the anthem for the 10:45 am service.  Although encouraged, participation is ALWAYS optional.

Grades 7 through 12 not yet Confirmed: Confirmation Class

Youth Room - Lower Level/Front Half
These students study the teachings of the Lutheran Church in preparation for the Rite of Confirmation.

High School and Adults:  

PRIMETIME PARABLE BIBLE STUDY CLASS

Conference Room - 2nd Floor
We are excited to bring back the Primetime Parables Bible study class on Sunday mornings! We know that Jesus often taught in Parables, or stories meant to teach a lesson. This class will explore how God speaks to us in modern parables through television. We will watch episodes of sitcoms from the 1950's through today and then discuss Bible verses relating to a central theme in the show.
Adults and teenagers looking for a fun and easy way to start studying the Bible will love this class!
