             Sisters In Faith

Purpose:  To support all Sisters in Faith who desire to grow in their faith journey with Jesus Christ and one another through the study and discussion of God’s Living Word.

Following the guidance of the Fruit of God’s Spirit, which is “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control”(Gal. 5:22-23). We will accomplish our purpose by nurturing, empowering, and uplifting, one another as we come together to share our joys and sorrows in an atmosphere of trust, compassion and empathy.  It is our sincere hope that through this cross-centered relationship we will be better able to see God at work—in and through us—in our lives, our community and our world.

This group is open to all women of the congregation and their female family members and friends.  The group meets once a month usually on the third Saturday morning for breakfast, fellowship and discussion or an educational event.  Topics of interest range from popular books to issues that affect our daily lives.  A fall weekend retreat is held in October at Camp Nawakwa in Arendtsville, PA.  Scholarship money is available for all events to enable women of all economic backgrounds to participate.  Interested in growing in your faith and relationships?  Ask one of the women at St. Paul’s or contact the church office.
