Rotation Sunday School

At St. Paul’s children from Pre-K through grade 6 experience the Bible through the Rotation Sunday school model.  Children gather each Sunday in the Courtyard for our weekly Opening which includes the Bible story and theme for the month.  This is a time when the story is acted out for children and reinforced through song and movement.  (This also enables all children to share their gift of singing and enrich the worship experience of folks attending the 10:45 a.m. worship service on special occasions.) Following the opening, the story and theme are reinforced as trusted Shepherds guide children according to age group to one of four stations each week.  Stations include: Cooking & Science, Arts & Crafts, Games, and Theater.  Children love it and it’s a wonderful way for them to grow in their faith journey!

Classes are held for:
3 year olds
Kindergarten
1st and 2nd grade
3rd and 4th grade
5th and 6th grade
High School
Adults

Confirmation

We know schedules are tight so at St. Paul’s Faith Formation a.k.a. Confirmation is held on Sunday mornings during the Sunday school hour.  Parents play a vital role in their young person’s faith formation and are encouraged to be an active participant.  Adults and peers provide powerful role model’s for our young people’s Christian values. This Rite of Passage enables families to grow together in their faith journey at a time when families and teens may grow apart.  Throughout the year class & worship attendance, service to the church and community and attendance at a week long camp at Camp Nawakwa the last week of June are part of the requirements.  Fulfill the vows you made at your child’s baptism and give your young teen a solid foundation for life.  Call the church office today at 637-5941 for information and to register your youth.

We also offer several Adult Learning Opportunities:

The Friendly Folk Class uses the Augsburg Bible Cirriculum for their lecture and discussion.

The Box Office Gospel Class takes a look at clips from Movies and discusses how these themes apply to our faith lives.

Marriage Enrichment- This class is currently helping couples strengthen and support marriages by addressing issues such as communication, finances and sexuality.

9:30 Fall-Winter Worship Service (for Adults)

The sermon during this service may be interactive and is a more in-depth teaching of one of the Biblical texts by the pastor.
