SPECIAL DESIGNATED GIVING FOR FEBRUARY

JOINING HANDS is our congregation's disaster response project. Since January 2006, St. Paul's, along with other congregations, Rotarians and like-minded individuals, have restored homes damaged by natural disasters. With both volunteers to frame/paint/install/etc. and financial donations, Joining Hands has built 3 new homes and restored 6 gutted homes in Mississippi for Katrina and restored a gutted home and added an addition to a second home in Georgia for flooding. Designated Giving helps to defray the cost of transportation/housing/food for our St. Paul's members who participate, as well as the purchase of supplies and materials. St. Paul's volunteers will be traveling to North Carolina the week of March 19th to work on a home damaged by Hurricane Irene. Your donations are much appreciated and enable Joining Hands to continue with this mission.
